Women Who Ride

WOMEN WHO RIDE, a short documentary film directed by Jessica Jones, is an intimate portrait of D’Vious Wayz Motorcycle Club.

Bonded by their passion for the hum of an engine, the smell of grease, and the open road, D’Vious Wayz Motorcycle Club is Oakland’s first Black all-women motorcycle club. Led by Tish Edwards, this close-knit group of women has been together for 20 years, but as membership dwindles during COVID and family responsibilities mount, multiple challenges will need to be addressed on the journey ahead.

We are grateful to all of our supporters for helping with the successful crowdfunding campaign. Tax donations can still be made to support the film via our fiscal sponsor.
